Don't know really about the cheating or not. I was on SS for the Fed blunder and a long time after that. I was Priv msgd the new SS a coupla times as I was afk. I saw no mention of the new SS on the old one. So the only way it could have happened is if someone on our old SS, after pretty much everyone on our corp had already switched to the new SS, blurted it out on the old one, like "are we switching over to 23087?" We asked who it was as noone had it in their logs someone making that kind of blunder. And were told "You should know!". Well we don't. That probably is more frustrating than losing a few ships and a planet.
